She is tall and lanky. Her large eyes light up as she talks about her life in India. Today she is known as the wife of musician Lucky Ali. Meet model and former Miss England, Kate Elizabeth Hallam.
She came to India three years ago for a modelling assignment, “where I met my husband and it was love at first sight,” recalls Elizabeth.
Having modelled for the car show Top Gear back in the UK, she now dreams of acting in Bollywood. “That is if they have a role for a white girl,” she laughs.
Elizabeth is also passionate about starting a cancer foundation here, where she wants to promote bone marrow transplant.
“My brother was diagnosed with cancer and has overcome it. Today he is married and is healthy.”
She is also the brand ambassador for the Advanced Hair Studio in the city and promotes hair therapy and treatments.
“If you can change the texture and the thickness of your hair and if it boosts your confidence, then you should go ahead with the therapy to make yourself beautiful from inside and outside.”
