I have very oily and dark complexion. What should I do to make it glow?Shrutika

Use a facial scrub twice a week. You can either buy one, or mix rice powder with rose water and use it as a scrub. Apply it on your face, rubbing the skin gently with small, circular movements. Leave it on for five minutes, before washing it off. Mix one teaspoon each of cucumber juice, rose water and lemon juice and apply it daily. Wash it off with water after 15 minutes. Mix multani mitti with rose water and lemon juice into a paste and apply it daily on your face, avoiding the lips and the area around your eyes. Wash it off after it dries.

I go swimming often. My skin has become dark because of chlorine and sun exposure.Aishwarya

Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before sun exposure. After swimming, have a shower to wash off the chlorine and other chemicals. Massage your body with til oil daily before a bath. Mix besan, curd, lemon juice and a little haldi into a paste. Apply it on the exposed areas three times a week. Wash it off after half an hour. You can also apply a lemon-turmeric cream daily.

My neck is fleshy and has lines. I don’t have a thyroid problem.Dhanusha

Try the following exercises for the neck, after consulting your doctor. Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling with your lips closed and then start a chewing movement. Repeat the chewing motion 20 times. Now, sit upright, and tilt your head back, looking at the ceiling, with your lips closed and relaxed. Move your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep it there for a count of five. Relax and repeat the exercise five times. Massage your neck daily with a nourishing cream or oil. Using both your hands, start massaging from your chin and go downwards, one hand following the other. The pressure should be exerted as you go downwards and not when you bring hands back to your chin. You can also go to a beauty salon for a massage.
