Andrea Jeremiah walks in hurriedly yet gracefully, in jeans, a casual tee and hoisting a large leather bag, as if there aren’t enough hours in the day to do it all. After all, the success of the year isn’t over yet, and no one knows that better than singer/actress Andrea Jeremiah herself. With five films in the pipeline and a new single releasing next weekend, there’s no counting down to the new year just yet.

Andrea’s always been a musician first and she likes it that way, taking her singing career forward in leaps and bounds. After multiple hits, she’s entering the independent music scene, collaborating with longtime friend Prithvi Chandrasekhar and his studio, Krimson Avenue. “We’ve worked on a whole bunch of songs and they’re all in various stages of production right now. We’re taking things at our own pace and we are just hoping for the best right now.

Ultimately, like every artist, we would like to perform our music on stage,” she says. They’ve teamed up to form Krem Brûlée, to release their first single, an electro-pop ballad titled, Never Let You Go. Andrea says that, “they never expected a roaring success,” and that prompted her to revisit her own beginnings, following up with another single that she says is all about love. “This is a love song for your hometown, your mom, your pet dog, your grandparents’ garden, your childhood sweet shop. The first tree you ever climbed, the street you rode your first bicycle on, your best friend, your high school sweetheart… it’s a love song for everything and everyone you leave behind when you grow up and move to a new place in search of a new life,” she says with a smile.

With the music video shot, the song is more than ready for release. “The video is cute and candid. We’ve shot all over London and with no director; I just had to go with my gut. I’ve been living with this song for over a year and releasing it on my birthday, there couldn’t be a better time. I can’t wait to see what people think.”
