The sub-4 metre compact sedan from Tata is built on the Manza platform. It will come equipped with both petrol and diesel engines to compete with segment rivals Amaze, Dzire and Xcent. The Zest is expected to go on sale by mid-2014.
The new Honda Jazz is expected to come with a diesel engine option and new interiors. Honda's frugal 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel mill, which does duty in the Amaze and new City, is expected in the new Jazz. The Japanese auto maker is expected to launch the vehicle by mid-2015.

The 2014 Nissan Sunny is expected to go on sale by July-August. The car has shed it's plain look and now sports a new front, with boomerang headlamps and chrome grille. Mechanically, the car is expected to reamain the same.
The Bolt is expected to revive Tata's flagging hatchback sales and will be aggresively priced. Expect the car to cost between the Rs. 5 - 7 lakh range. It is also expected to come in petrol and diesel variants and is slated for launch in August.
