INGREDIENTS:
For dough:
Maida: 200 gm
Salt: 2.5 gm
Egg: Two
Baking powder: Three 3 gm
For stuffing:
Minced chicken: 350 gm
Onion: 150 gm
Green chilli: Eight nos
Ginger: 25 gm
Coriander leaves: 20 gm
Spring onion and celery: 50 gm each
White pepper powder: Half Tsp
Soya sauce: One Tsp
Oyster sauce: 1½ Tsp
Sugar: Two pinch
Salt: To taste
METHOD:
Mix the ingredients for the dough and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
Chop the onion, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, spring onion and celery and mix it with the minced meat, white pepper powder, soya and oyster sauce, sugar and salt.
Take 40 gm of the stuffing and make it into small balls to stuff it inside the 40 gm of dough. Steam it for 16 minutes to make delicious non vegetarian momo.
The dish goes well with Mangolian sauce or hot garlic sauce.
