In half tsp of oil fry the coriander seeds, Bengal gram dal and red chillies till brown. Grind coarsely and keep aside.

In a kadai fry the mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and raw groundnut in half teaspoon of oil till brown.

Cut tomatoes into small pieces and add to the mixture in the kadai. Cook till the mixture reaches a thick liquid consistency.

Add half glass of water and the ground powder. Boil till the raw smell disappears.

Cool and add the curry leaves and coriander leaves.
