What you need

Raw rice flour: 500 gm

Sesame seeds: 50 gm

Bengal gram: 5 tbsp

Cumin: 3 tbsp

Chilli powder: 2 tbsp

Salt: to taste

Oregano: 1 tbsp

Broken peanuts: a handful

Asafoetida: a pinch

Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp

Curry leaves: a few

Refined oil: as required

Cooking instructions

Mix all the above ingredients, except oil, and make a hard dough by adding hot water.

Divide this dough into 6-7 round balls.

Spread a little oil on a pan, place one ball in the centre and spread it by pressing with fingers into a roti shape. Make 4-5 small holes in it.

Keep the pan on the stove, add a little oil in each of these holes, and heat it till it turns golden brown.

Then turn it and heat the other side also.

Repeat the same for the other balls as well.

The crisp and tasty sarvapindi is ready. Serve with curd or pickle.
