I learnt this recipe from my grandmother. Banana flower is considered to have many medicinal properties.
What you need
Banana flower, cleaned and chopped - 1 cup
Roasted gram flour -1/2 cup
Rice flour -1 tbsp
Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
Chilli powder -1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Oil - to fry
Cook the banana flowers and hand grind it to make a fine paste.
The paste should be thick.
To this paste add the gram flour, rice flour, garam masala, chilli powder, salt and make small round balls.
Fry and serve hot with coconut chutney.
