Egg noodles - 200 gm
Biriyani rice - 75 gm
Oil - 2 tbsp
Crushed garlic - 2 tbsp
Peeled, deveined, and uncooked prawns - 500 gm
Cleaned and slice squid - 250 gm
Cleaned and boiled chicken - 250 gm
Sliced capsicum - half cup
Sliced onion - 2 cups
Finely shredded spring onion - 2 tbsp
Toasted sesame seed - 2 tbsp
Thinly sliced carrot and beans (lengthwise cut) - 1 cup each
Pepper - 1 tbsp
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Sugar - half tbsp
Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp
Oyster sauce - 1 tsp
Worcestershire Sauce - 1 tbsp
Water - 250 ml
Boil and cook rice and noodles separately till done. Drain and keep aside
Heat oil in a wok and sauté garlic, chillies, ginger for 1 minute. Stir in prawns, squid, and pepper, sliced carrot, beans onion and pepper. Add salt to taste. Finally add spring onion, chicken and capsicum, cook for 2 minutes.
Pour little oil in a pan just stir fry rice for 1 – 2 minutes the same way noodles.
To make sauce combine corn flour, sugar tomato, oyster and Worcestershire sauces and water, pour into a pan and cook over a medium heat until sauce boils and thickness.
To this add all sautéed ingredients and stir fried noodles and rice.
Mix well. Transfer it into a serving bowl, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
Red Peppered Chicken
Chicken - 500 gm (cut into thin strips)
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Capsicum - 2 small
Chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1 clove (crushed)
Spring onion - 4 (cut into 5 cm lengths)
Ginger - 2 tsp (grated)
Sugar - half tsp
Red wine - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Sprinkle chicken strips with cornflour and 2 tbsp soy sauce. Toss to coat and set aside for five to ten minutes.
Heat a tbsp oil in a frying pan, add capsicum, chilli, garlic, spring onion and ginger.
Stir for two to three minutes and remove the pan from fire. Keep aside.
Heat the remaining oil in a wok and stir fry chicken till tender. Add remaining soy sauce sugar, red wine and salt. Stir in capsicum. Spring onion mix, stir fry 2 minutes, serve hot.
