The first impression shouldn’t be the last impression when you see the deli at Fusion 9 in Inorbit mall. What looks like a coffee shop actually unfolds gradually into a 180 seating capacity restaurant. Done mostly in brown black and white, this eatery has an open design throughout, so irrespective of where you choose to sit, the city’s landscape is at one’s disposal. This includes a view of the portion of Durgam Cheruvu as well. The outdoor seating is impressive as well and lit naturally. The outdoors can also accommodate events with high decibel levels without disturbing any of the other establishments in their vicinity.

The only coloured corner in the restaurant has green leather cushions which also double as the lounge area. Fusion 9 at Inorbit is not just an extension of the parent restaurant by address; the menu too has a few new entries. For the time being, one will have to settle with mocktails; the rest will fall in place in a few more weeks, we are assured. There are a few health drinks as well which come with concoctions of carrot juice, honey, ginger and the likes. The combinations are healthy and yet sound interesting.

This F9 can boast of natural light and a see through kitchen. The choice of starters have meat, fish and cottage cheese and also a few signature salads for light eaters. There are some classic pizzas to choose from and the choice of pasta doesn’t disappoint either.

For those who don’t mind ‘sweet’ crispy chicken, the Korean crispy chicken should be a good option. If sweetness and meat assault your palate, try the prawn kebab — juicy and perfectly desi in taste.

F9 is also known for its sushi, those who don’t like sushi can settle for dim sum — perfectly wholesome. There are couple of fixed platter choices as well for those who are not looking for a leisurely lunch. The right portion size makes it a good working grab. Meat lovers can order their choice of steak or go for whole grilled pomfret. Desserts at F9 have to be generous, as the menu lists some classics which the eatery is popular for.
