SIDDHARTHA BASU: It is a big mistake to think the problem is just with so called reality shows, or a few that the government thinks have gone too far. The sickness extends far beyond reality shows and non-serial content to most of the serials and news. What we need fast is our own equivalent of the British Ofcom or the US FCC to regulate key issues relating to the broadcast media, including content.
