Khushwant Singh was one of the greatest people I’ve had the privilege to know. When they made him, they broke the mould and I am sure I will never meet his like again. His achievements were off the charts; he came from one of Delhi’s elite families; he was courted by the rich and famous but none of these affected him in the slightest. He was humble, accessible, generous and told the truth as he knew it without fear or favour. That was the greatness of the man and he will be sorely missed.
