On a grassy land,
Decorated with a few grains,
Stood two birds,
One of them ruling the grains,
While the other,
Just a hungry spectator.
Frail and delicate was she,
Yearning to conquer the grain.
Suddenly came another one with a blow.
Flew both of them,
Frightened with the fury of the third one’s entry.
Queried the first one to the innocent,
Look unhappy?
Replied she, “hungry, I am”,
Are you not?
I have had my share!
You missed it friend,
You did miss it,
Flew the contented one,
Allowing her to know her blunder.
