Winning voice

The little champ talks on his lifestyle. It is not easy to be a child prodigy. Ask Yatharth Ratnum Rastogi who is seen on Zee TV’s Li’l Champs 2009 these days. Like any other contestant the boy wants to win the trophy and is quite confident and capable. He also wants to excel at basketball and is now training to be a playback singer. Like any other working professional his average day runs to more than fifteen hours.

Just sing

And to think this student of Std. VII of Sunbeam School, Banaras, is only twelve years old. He tells," My day starts at 7.00 and after a light breakfast I start playing on my taanpura and tabla for nearly two hours. The timings of my school is different, it starts at 11.00 AM and goes on till 5.30 in the evening. So, I can practice in the morning without waking too early and this off course is the ideal time for practising". He has secured 95 per cent marks in Std. VI.

“For me, singing is more important than any other thing,” he asserts. He has been chosen as the “Best Singer Of The Day” thrice so far.
