Kelir Kelir

Bharathanatyam dancer Alarmel Valli will launch an audio CD produced by Aseema Trust and Rukminidevi Natyakshetra. The audio CD is on Mahatma Gandhi, Dignity and Non Violence and is for free distribution to schools. Kelir Kelir is the title of the Tamil adaptation of Suno Suno ai duniyawalo Bapu ki ye amar kahani sung by Mohammed Rafi in 1948. Aadu Raattai is a recomposition with swaras of the song sung by D. K. Pattammal in 1941. These songs will be performed in Bharathanatyam by Rukminidevi Natyakshetra and children from Vidya Vanam School for tribal children, Anaikkati near Coimbatore.
