Celebrating 50
This year Gandhi Peace Foundation and the Chennai based-independently registered-Trust have clocked in 50 years. As part of the year long celebration GPF proposes to organise several events to promote a culture of peace to benefit the youth, industrial workers and the public.
Seminar on Gandhian values for participatory management

Workshop on ‘The role of youth in promoting Dignity of Manual Labour’

Public speaking
Supraja (The Winners) hosts a weekly public speaking workshop at The Yellow bus in Besant Nagar. The programme hopes to help you overcome your shyness and inhibition and develop self-confidence. The programme is for children from 7 to 10 years.

Watch Tintin
Catch The Adventures Of Tintin, an animated adaptation of a popular comic classic, in a 39 episode long series that will be aired on Discovery Kids every day at 2 p.m. with repeat telecast at 8 p.m. The intrepid young reporter and his trusty sidekick Snowy travel around the world accompanied by a colourful cast of characters.
Be a gold winner
Events include Singing (Carnatic and Film), Quiz, Fancy Dress, Instrumental Fusion and Group dance events.

Music competition
The Nehru Children’s Cultural Association in association with Shanta and T. Kripashankar Charitable Trust will organise a music competition for school students on February 2.

Storytelling performance
Theme: By treating each other with compassion and kindness, we build a strong and supportive civil society.
