What I learned

September 10, 2012 05:58 pm | Updated 07:06 pm IST

Sometimes some special people come into your life and change it forever. Mrs. Stella Ruby my Std. VII class teacher was one among them. She made a great difference in my life during my transformation period from childhood to early adolescent. It was her encouragement, positive outlook that made me a well-defined person. I learnt about hard work and perseverance while working for class magazine. She not only taught me to draw the margin straight but moulded me in a way that my life will be straight – achieving great things and to be good to others. She did not teach only from the books but also taught me the importance of not wasting food, water and to be eco-friendly.
