Welcoming showers

March 11, 2013 03:51 pm | Updated 03:51 pm IST - New Delhi

While walking home from school, I looked up and saw that the sky was turning dark. I felt excited. Rain always makes me feel happy. I could never understand why “Little Tommy” had to wait for the rain to go away so he could play. If I were Tommy I would be waiting for the rain to go out and play. Occupied by all these thoughts I entered the main gate of my house and by the time I reached the portico, little shiny drops of rain had started to fall and caress my face.
