It was a grand occasion. Everyone's favourite — Noddy was in town.

Kids had a fun time when Noddy came to town. As they eagerly awaited his arrival, the kids entertained the audience by singing and dancing.

Soon, Noddy appeared in his blue cap and colourful attire, smiling and dancing. The event organised as part of the Landmark summer carnival in association with Chorion and Dream Theatre, was held in Landmark Store, Citi Centre.

Kids flocked around to greet Noddy and took photographs with him. The store has put up a collection of Noddy products for sale including Noddy story books, school bags, toys and other school stationary items.

Noddy, the fictional character created by the British children's author Enid Blyton, first appeared in the book Noddy Goes to Toyland in 1949. This was followed by a series of Noddy stories. These stories were adapted to theatre and an animated television series and soon they became the kids favourite.

Noddy, the little wooden boy, lives in a little house in Toyland and roams around in his little red and yellow taxi.

The kind and honest Noddy has a group of friends, but he runs into trouble often and struggles to come out of them.
