‘twas a busy day

February 18, 2013 09:54 pm | Updated 09:54 pm IST

I think it was the busiest day in my life. I woke up at 3 a.m. and got ready. It was now 4 a.m. By 4.30, people started coming to our house. My sister was getting married. I was very excited but also sad because our exams were beginning the next day. I had not prepared. I heard some sounds from the bedroom and when I looked I saw a lot of people gathered there. All of them were singing, some were dancing and some were just sitting. When I looked at the time I found it was already 10 o’clock. I had to go shopping with my brother. When I got back the wedding ceremony had begun. It finished only by midnight. It was the busiest day of my life. I went to sleep with happiness and sadness.
