Tumble in the station

February 24, 2014 03:43 pm | Updated May 18, 2016 10:42 am IST

One day, I was travelling from Nandyal to Khammam with my sister in a train. The train arrived at Vijayawada Junction and my sister got off to buy some snacks. Suddenly the train started slowly moving from the station. Alarmed, my sister ran towards the train. She tripped and was about to fall between the platform and the train when one of the passengers standing on the station saved her by pulling her up. Someone pulled the chain to halt the train.

That incident raised my heartbeat and it took me and my sister more than half an hour to be normal.
