Tips to stay healthy

There's just one word that describes summer — HOT. And with this heat comes a lot of other related things like humidity, dryness, perspiration and falling sick. The cardinal rule during summer is to stay hydrated and cool.

Drink a lot of fluids (water and juices included). Eat fruits containing water (watermelon, grapes, oranges etc). Avoid spicy food. (The chillies will make you sweat and give you a tummy ache). Wear cotton, preferably light shades (it's airy and cool and will absorb less heat). Remember to carry an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun

Here are a few tips to stay healthy and have that perfect holiday

Wear a sunscreen whenever you step out, especially when you swim.

Wash your hands before you eat. (Germs stick to you because of sweat)

Get enough sleep (It restores and rejuvenates you after a hot day)

When travelling take a small bag with essentials. (Water bottle, a fruit, sunscreen and a first aid kit)

Use a prickly heat powder.

Have a shower as often as possible. Add a few drops of dettol or savlon to keep yourself germ free.

Schedule adventure-related activities for the early morning.
