The story

Subroto Bandhopadhyay is also known as Stoob. If nagging parents and bullies at school weren’t enough, concentration too is a problem for him. If appearances could speak for the person you are, you would understand why his hair could never be tamed, or why his “bear claws” were getting him into trouble every other day. It’s February already, and Stoob is glad that he’s almost done with Std V. But before he can heave a sigh of relief, there’s an announcement: his class test marks have been cancelled and getting through to middle school depends solely on one giant exam.
