The Canadian Central School, Muvattupuzha , celebrated its eight Annual Day — “Vibrant-2011”. Commander Chev. T.U. Kuruvilla, MLA, was the chief guest. Cine Artist Suja Karthika inaugurated the cultural programme. The school honoured Chev. Prof. Baby M. Varghese, educationist and Director of Marian Academy of Management studies. The opening ceremony was spectacular with the beautiful balloon display and ‘Guruvandhanam' dance and music. The five-hour variety entertainment programme featured the Ottam tullal, the skit on ONU's touching Kavitha “Amma” and the orchestration by students from Stds II to VI.

Manager Dr. P.V. Joseph presided over the function while Academic Director Prof. Dr. Ashly Mathew presented the Annual Report. Director Captain Roshan Mathew Joseph, Principal M.C. Alexander, Municipal Councillor Mr. Ciju Abraham, PTA President Mr. Biju V. Cherian and Mothers' Forum Chairperson Santhi Zachariah spoke on the occasion. The prestigious manuscript magazine Expressions and the Canadian newsletter Image were released during the function. Liji T. Varghese proposed a vote of thanks.
