A group of 30 students from South Korea visited the Trivandrum International School recently as part of a month long Indo-Korean student friendship programme. The students, accompanied by two faculty members, arrived on January 5 and stayed at the school hostel. They attended regular lessons in core subjects such as Maths, Science and English and also participated in co-curricular activities like music, dance, yoga and physical education, a statement issued by Trivandrum International School (TRINS) said. The students, studying between Stds III to X representing various schools in South Korea, also visited tourist sports in the city and participated in a cultural programme held at the school where they, along with TRINS students, performed Dandiya and Punjabi dance. The delegation left for Korea on January 29, the statement added.
