The students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan organised an exhibition to showcase their skills in photography on World Photography Day recently at Seethammadhara branch. The amateur photographers arranged a dazzling array of photos capturing the beauty of Vizag and candid expressions of people. Around 350 photographs were displayed in the gallery.

The winners of the photo contest were S. Usha Kiran, V. Nikhitha Priya, Dharshini, P. Vishnu, B. Bhavya, P. Saveena, S. Sai Kruthi and D. Sai Vaibhav. Dr. S. Vijay Kumar from Vijay Nirman Co. Ltd. was present. Director Ch. Vasu Prakash felicitated renowned photographer P. Dattathreya .

The highlight of the exhibition was the display of nearly 30 cameras that were used in the past and a unique exhibition of 500 photographs of ancient temples, monuments and different scenic beauties from different parts of India by photographer M. Srinivas Rao from INTACH.
