Hamumanthu Suresh Kumar of Little Flower English Medium High School at Mudinepalli in Krishna district won the gold medal in a district-level science and maths talent test organised by Vijayawada Private Schools Association. He also received a memento and a merit certificate. Principal B. Raghu Ramaiah and staff congratulated him on his achievement.

The kindergarteners of Nellore Ravindra Bharathi School at Patamata Lanka enjoyed their graduation ceremony. They were given certificates and mementoes. Krishna Kumar, assistant director of All-India Radio, Vijayawada was the chief guest. The school principal, N. Aruna, staff members and parents were present.

Tiny-tots of pre-primary classes in Sri Chaitanya International Olympiad School had their graduation ceremony. Dermatologist P. Deeksha, who was the chief guest, advised parents to give a free hand to children in choosing their area of interest from a very young age. Principal P. Chandra Sekhara Rao, vice-principal Padmakala and others were present.

The students of the kindergarten, Akshara International School, were happy about the colourful dress they sported on Graduation Ceremony Day. Dr. Radhika Reddy was the chief guest. She said stories told to children by elders in the family serve as a great source of inspiration.

The school principal, Sarada Anil Kumar and others were present.

B. Ravi Prasad, correspondent of M.K. Gandhi Concept School, addressing the students at a function organised as part of Ugadi celebrations, said that co-curricular activities too were important.

The preparation of Ugadi chutney was held as a competition for the students of Stds. VIII, IX and X. This was followed by a fancy dress competition .
