Ray of hope

December 31, 2013 08:54 pm | Updated 08:54 pm IST

Today I saw a diya near a Tulsiplant, spreading light alone in the dark .It was wonderful to see a speck of yellow light in the dark. It looked as if it signified a ray of hope in the deep miseries of life. It was burning for a long time but when it finally went off, I was sad to see darkness all around. It was no more a symbol of hope but of utter darkness or sadness. I was not sad because I knew my mother will light the same diya again tomorrow. In the same manner, we should never lose our heart and keep trying to reach our destination because one day we will succeed.
