Lisa rushed into the bus and sat down to discuss something with her friends. She was excited. The kids in the bus thought, “They are going to play a prank on someone!”

When Lisa reached school, she went to her classroom and stuck a picture of her class teacher on the display board and scribbled some comments underneath. She and her classmates decorated the class with balloons and steamers. Then they hid themselves. The class teacher was about to enter the class, but was surprised to see no one inside. She was suspicious and entered expecting a prank to be played. Suddenly, some colour paper fell on her. The students rushed into the class shouting “Happy birthday, ma’am!” The teacher noticed the display board was full of wishes for her. Everyone lined up to give gifts to their teacher.

“I am excited to receive such a warm welcome, but…” said the teacher.

“But what, ma’am?” asked Lisa.

“Today is not my birthday!”

Lisa became the fool that day! April 1, was the Science teacher’s birthday. She had the same name as the class teacher, only their initials were different.
