My childhood

March 11, 2013 03:42 pm | Updated 03:42 pm IST - Thiruvananthapuram

The experiences of childhood are varied yet interesting. But most of all they are memorable. And very often you are find yourself thinking of the past with a great fondness.

Our childhood is a pleasant mix of joy and innocence. For me, childhood was an age of excitement and discovery. I remember how I would hold my father’s index finger and make forays into the fish market and other such places. I wonder whether my endless questions irritated or angered him.

It is the experiences of childhood that holds us in good stead in the years to come, and when we face hardships. And the memory of those glorious years will help us surmount any problem.
