Memorable trip

My classmates and I recently set out for an excursion to Ooty where nature’s beauty is at its best. We started our journey around midnight and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

We were excited as we passed through the mountain roads and wonderful panorama spread out beneath us. We were amazed by the beauty of the green frosty valleys. We walked through the lush green gardens and hillsides overlooking lakes. We experienced all this to our hearts content.

Unfortunately, joy is a fickle friend. The news of the death of a friend’s father cast a shadow on our trip and we maintained absolute silence on our way back home.
