Masinagudi memories

July 22, 2013 06:30 pm | Updated 06:30 pm IST

This summer, I went to Masinagudi, the green paradise near Ooty. It was a marvellous place where I felt like diving through the clouds as they floated below us. It was so chilly. We stayed at a resort near a stream. We had a lovely view from our room and the sounds of the frogs and insects gave it an eerie feeling. We also admired the countless flowers.

Our jungle safari ride was damp and windy. We saw elephants, peacocks and monkeys on our way. I was thrilled to see a horde of fireflies on my skirt! Everyone laughed and teased me!

We returned to Coimbatore with our hearts filled with memories of our trip to Masinagudi.
