November 14 is Children’s Day. Do you know why? It is a celebration of the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister.

Every child has a wish for Children’s Day so what is yours?

Write to us in not more than 200 words and tell us about it.

Mail your entries to The Hindu Young World (Children’s Day), Kasturi Buildings, 859/860 Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002.

Or thehindu.youngworld@gmail.com

Make sure you write your name, class, school and place. The last date for all entries is November 6.
