In the clouds

In Shillong, the roads are lined with wild flowers of different colours. We head off to the Shillong Peak. The uneven roads with sharp turnings and of course the falling temperature make my teeth clatter aloud.

We did make it at the right time and it was then that the clouds dispersed and we could get a clear view of the town.

I feasted on ripe, deep maroon plums and the thought of it, as I write, still makes my mouth water!

The Laitumkhrah Church is a quiet place. Shillong never fails to enchant me.
