Horrible experience

January 20, 2014 06:56 pm | Updated May 13, 2016 10:54 am IST

I was travelling in a train from Nandyal to Khammam with my sister named P. Pavani. The train arrived at Vijayawada junction. My sister got down to buy some snacks for us. And suddenly the train began to move. My sister came running and while she was getting into the train she slipped and one leg got stuck in the gap between the platform and the train. One of the passengers in the station rescued her by pulling her up. And the co-passengers in the train pulled the chain to stop the train. When I saw this my heart was beating fast. It took both of us a long while to get back to normal.
