Help the tree family

September 16, 2013 05:09 pm | Updated June 02, 2016 12:38 pm IST

Oh no! My best friends are losing their lives. At first, there were many of my friends’ varieties. But now, only few are left. People commonly call my friends trees. When trees give us everything from fresh air to food, why are we cutting them?

The Indian government does its best to tell people that they shouldn't cut trees. Every time I visit a forest, I see only stumps which were once home to many birds and animals. When people cut trees and destroy a forest, animals come to the cities. So, please take a pledge that you will never cut trees.
