Good harvest

September 09, 2013 05:15 pm | Updated June 02, 2016 10:40 am IST

There was a wood cutter named Ramdas. He was a cruel man. He kept on cutting trees. After many years, there was no rain in the village and the crops failed.

So, the villagers were forced to go to leave the village. But, Ramdas didn't have enough money to travel outside. He thought, “We cut many trees and we gained money. Now let us plant some.”

He decided that each tree he had cut must be replaced with two trees. A few years later, the village was green and many birds came to live in the trees. They had lots of rain and a good harvest. So, plant trees and save the earth from global warming.
