Holidays are made of golden moments, one of which is my trip to Thekkady. Twenty one of us planned a family get-together cum trip and stayed in Thekkady for three days. We stayed at Cardamom County. The service was wonderful and the staff treated us like royalty, garlanding us and giving us welcome drinks. The climate was awesome.
We went boating and saw wild boar, elephants and different species of birds. We also went on an elephant ride. Our elephant was sick. It was sneezing and eating leaves throughout our ride. I felt annoyed about having to sit on a sick elephant. But I enjoyed it.
Back at the hotel, we sat together, talked and played games. It was fun and, as a family, this trip brought us closer. Soon, it was time to go home. We said our goodbyes. It was an unforgettable tour. I am waiting for the next holiday to have more such golden moments.
