This Gandhi Jayanti, Tulika will launch an innovative and interactive blog for children called ‘Our Gandhi Scrapbook’; a virtual journey to discover Gandhi along with acclaimed children’s author, Sandhya Rao.

An avid ‘Gandhi collector’ herself, Sandhya will also be having her popular ‘Cat in the Hat’ session for children on October 2. This is an audio-visual presentation of images from her three books on Gandhi — My Gandhi Scrapbook, Picture Gandhi and The Story of Dandi March — with engaging stories and encouraging words to bring children forward to participate.

The event will take place at Full Circle, Chamiers, No 85, Chamiers Road, R.A.Puram. To mark the occasion, Sandhya’s three unusual books on Gandhi — a photobiography, a scrapbook, and a read-and-colour book — will be available as a set at a discounted price of Rs. 275.

Tulika will be organising similar sessions with the author, in various schools. The package will be available in all major bookstores and on the Tulika website www.tulikabooks.com.
