moochhander 's moustaches

A giant baker, a wicked ogre, a cunning monkey and Moochhander…these are some of the characters you will meet in this book. With four short stories, the book is sure to tickle your funny bone.

In the first story you will meet Molka the giant, who is an expert in baking. But when he comes to the village which he thinks is perfect for him to start his own bakery he figures it's not. No matter what he makes the village folks remain unsettled. He gets so disappointed that he almost decides to give up…

Profundus is a small piglet you will meet in another story. Though lean and not very conspicuous, it's his smart genes that help him become the most popular. It starts when piglets start disappearing from the houses despite all the cautioning by Madame Snotbog (the new teacher in their school). Soon it is Profundus' turn and it's a night which turns the tables quite literally and soon he succeeds in bringing things back to normality.

In Monkeyshines you may not like the character because he is cunning and vile. In a series of events he steals a clipper, shears, a cart, some sugar and the bride too. It's almost unnerving. Even after getting a thrashing he is still able to say, “never do business with people who can't figure”.

Moochhander is the hero of this book. An iron man with moustaches that are magical. He could use them as anything from a tightrope in a circus to shifting objects from one place to the other. In fact he was so fond of them that he even takes care of them — braiding them, tying them and decorating them. It's only when they start drooping that he figures he needs them back…and now.

An easy read, the book is a page turner. Sure to make you laugh.
