Feels like heaven

January 20, 2014 07:06 pm | Updated May 13, 2016 10:54 am IST

It was a chilly night. At the end of a long journey which began from Chemmad, we arrived at Ooty, a place where all natural and beautiful resources come together. We fwere freezing and felt as if we were becoming icicles.

At dawn the next day, I saw Ooty’s beauty, carpeted by plantations and the carrot fields. It is blessed with fantabulous gardens, decorated with colourful flowers. Ooty with its ease, peace and gentle breeze, extends a warm welcome to everybody.

Many tourists from different parts of India and abroad visit the main street which is lined with vendors. It makes for an exciting sight!

Ooty, to me, feels as if a part of heaven.
