Earth’s poetry

November 11, 2013 05:48 pm | Updated 05:48 pm IST

Rain is like a rhapsody for earth — it revives life, revitalises soul and embellishes nature. The clamour of the drops recite the love of the sky to the earth, the sweep of wind, the sigh of nature and the budding flowers is an embodiment of fragrance, freshness and mirth. The murmur of the leaves reveal the glory of the earth, plants and animals enliven it. The tree tops and branches dancing in the breeze, fluttering butterflies and flying birds are the splendour of nature. The sources of beauty and purity are ubiquitous.

“The poetry of earth is never dead…” — John Keats
