Disney summer

During my summer holidays, my father, mother and I went to Disney World, Orlando and my life-long dream was fulfilled.

Tourists from around the world visit Disney World every year. We stayed in a resort called 101 Dalmatians. There are 24 similar resorts and several theme parks. Each one is connected by mono rail, roads and waterways.

First we visited the famous Magic Kingdom. I enjoyed the Disney Parade at Main Street where we met all the Disney characters. I also took photographs with Cinderella, Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Adventure Land, breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table, ice creams at Mrs. Potts Cupboard hotdogs and french fries at the Friar’s Nook Burgers and sandwiches at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn were mouth-watering. Then we visited Epcot where we travelled to Mars at a height of 40 feet and flew over California and Pacific Ocean. Tomorrowland Speedway, Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids were equally thrilling.

On the third day, we visited the Hollywood studios where we could meet actors, take photos with them and learn the latest film technology.

We visited Animal Kingdom on the fourth day and went for an open air safari in Kilimanjaro, an African savannah where we saw lions, giraffes, gazelles, rhinos and hippos.

We returned on the fifth day and our delightful holiday had come to an end though I didn’t feel like leaving.
