Darkness prevailed over the lands
Mere beings, the reason lone
Blood dripped from their hands
Thus quenching the thirst that had grown.
Ensconcing their hearts in darkness
Power, a temporary component
Hindered their world from brightness
The others misidentified as opponents.
The wings of peace were ripped away fiercely
By those who sought eternal power
To bind it in their hands firmly
Spreading the venoms of evil all over.
Never does the darkness vanish truly
For its shadow persists in hearts so vile
Once the darkness takes over completely
Sanity remains a mere façade for a while.
