Celebrate…quietly

November 26, 2012 04:09 pm | Updated 04:09 pm IST

Do you know that we are not saving the earth but polluting it? But we do not restrict ourselves to polluting the earth, we are harming our health too. When we burst crackers, think what happens. First thing is the smoke. This causes air pollution. The next is sound. This is harmful to the ears. All of us think this is fun, but Mother Earth does not think so. We can still enjoy our Deepavali by visiting friends and family, eating sweets or visiting our favourite places. It is not necessary to burst crackers to have a good time.
