Better childhood

January 26, 2010 05:23 pm | Updated 05:41 pm IST

The number of child labourers throughout the world is increasing day by day. Children, instead of enjoying their childhood, are working hard. The main reason is poverty. The government is not capable of helping all the poor people. Parents are forced to send their children to work as they are not capable of working. The government should make sure that the policies against child labour are strictly implemented. The non-governmental organisations must fight against child labour. If the NGOs and the government are successful in fighting child labour, then in the coming years, I am sure that there wouldn't be a single child labourer in the world and there would be a clean and safe environment for children.
