Automobile pollution

November 26, 2012 04:04 pm | Updated 04:04 pm IST

Recently, our Science teacher had assigned us a project on “Health hazards due to automobile pollution”. I wanted to do the project differently. So I went to G.T. Road and its nearby localities. I was shocked to find so many cases of skin disease and allergies. One out of every five families suffered from asthma and they all were under the impression that this was a normal occurrence.

This really shocked me and I am glad we get to work on such serious projects because it gives us an idea of how things really are.
