Retailers such as Portico New York, Spanish apparel brand Vinegar, the luxury lifestyle chain OMA and computer hardware firm ASUS commenced their operations in the city, the report noted. Road No. 36 of Jubilee Hills also attracted fashion brands such as Adidas Originals, Benetton, and VOI Jeans.

Following the create of new State of Telangana, projects that had been on hold for the past couple of years are now either back to construction or planning new launches, the report claimed. GSM Infrastructure’s project at Madinaguda, and Essjay Fortune Mall at Begumpet were cited as examples.

Rental rates remained stable across high streets, with the exception of Himayatnagar which saw a marginal appreciation of two to three per cent over the corresponding time in 2013, it said.
