The sixth edition of Flora Tech IPM 2014 will be held from August 22 to 24 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Flora Tech IPM is the new offshoot of the premier global trade fair for horticulture — IPM ESSEN/Germany — and covers the entire chain for the horticulture and floriculture industry.

The expo will have participants from India and Europe and focus on the various aspects of horticulture including water management and greenscaping.

Myna Batavia, Chief Consulting Director of Green Carpet-The Garden Centre, who will be participating in the expo, said “Flora Tech is a niche trade fair focussing only on horticulture. Therefore, there will be no dilution of attention for the B2B buyers. The industry, in turn, will benefit tremendously because of the focussed exposure to products and services which are industry specific. There will be ample scope to learn from peers, opportunity to collaborate and introduce novelties at the fair.”

The public will get the opportunity to choose from a myriad choices that the industry will throw open and not be confined to handmade products offered by cottage industries.

Innovations in technology, design and utility will be offered to the public at the fair.
