‘The Djinns of Eidgah’ is the story of Ashrafi and Bilal, two children stranded in the tragic impasse of Kashmir. Scripted by Abhishek Majumdar, it talks of the lives and losses of the Kashmiri people who deal with the situation by escaping into a fantasy world.

About the group:

Rage Productions’ journey started in 1992, with the double hander, ‘Are There Tigers in the Congo?’, a searing play about AIDS. The Rage trio: Rajit Kapur, Shernaz Patel and Rahul da Cunha, have since produced 18 memorable productions, including ‘I’m Not Bajirao’, Girish Karnad’s ‘Flowers’. Their focus over the last ten years has been on modern Indian writing. Rage has regaled audiences abroad as well including Amsterdam, Dubai, Germany, London, Malaysia, Seoul, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the United States.
